What is this?

This is a collection of user-generated, user-controlled maps for WiFi hotspots across Australia. All the maps on WiFi-in-Australia are all created by people who live in or frequent the local area. There are no web-scrapers creating auto-content, nor is there an insidious team of cyber-ninjas scrounging through the internet to find wireless listings.

The WiFi hotspots on these maps are added by everyday Australians, for the use of everyday Australians.

How do I use it?

To get started with WiFi in Australia straight away is really easy! All you need to do is use the control panel on the left to select a map location. Once you choose a location from the map selector, you are on your way!

What?!? A map for your town isn't here yet? Then feel free to add it! Adding a new map isn't really that difficult at all.. and you can get one started in as little as 15mins! Visit the Contribute! page for details on how you can help the cause.
